Speed Queen® high efficiency commercial frontload washers have qualified to display the ENERGY STAR® mark. In order to qualify for the label, the washer must meet the minimum Modified Energy Factor of 1.26. The ENERGY STAR label was designed by the government to denote products that use less energy, help you save money on utility bills, and help protect the environment.

Along with its 18lb. load capacity, the frontload washer has a spin speed of over 1000 rpm, providing significant savings in the energy required to dry loads. Speed Queen frontload washers are available with electronic and electro-mechanical controls. The washers are available as stand-alone units or as stack units with their companion dryers. The units are an excellent solution for apartments, beauty salons, and restaurants. In addition to qualifying for the ENERGY STAR mark, the high efficiency washer is recognized by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) for its increased energy efficiency and reduced water consumption. Further, with over 48 million people today that qualify as disabled, the compliance to the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards is essential. Speed Queen has complied with every design standard to be 100% ADA compliant. Horizon Line The days when a laundry room had to be located in the basement to accommodate a frontload washer are gone.
